Big, peaty and smoky
this ain't. The 18-year-old Yamazaki has a light, gentle, sweet flavor
with a medium amber color and very little burn. Most noticeable is a
honey flavor, followed by notes of prune, toffee, marmalade, mandarin
orange, strawberry and butter. The supple smoothness is no fluke: Japan
has always taken its beverages seriously, whether it's sake, tea, beer
or whisky.

matured, and bottled on site at the Bushmills Distillery in Bushmills,

Knappogue Castle Single Malt Irish Whiskey 1995 Ireland 750ml
The fifth vintage of
Knappogue Castle and the second consecutive one comprised of whiskey
from the Bushmills distillery. (The previous three were from the Cooley
Distillery.) This one is very clean and quite soft on the palate, with
a gentle sweetness throughout (fresh malt, vanilla, and honey). Floral
and citrus notes offer a subtle pleasantness throughout. Soft, soothing
creamy vanilla finish with hints of confectioners sugar and lightly
toasted marshmallow. This is a pleasant, versatile Irish whiskey to
have in your bar to serve neat, on the rocks, or in smart cocktails.

Canadian Club Whiskey 1L
Walkers whisky was
particularly popular in the late 19th century gentlemen's clubs of the
U.S. and Canada; hence it became known as "Club Whisky". Walker
originally positioned his Club Whisky as a premium whisky, pitching it
not only on its smoothness and purity but also the length of the aging
process (Walker's whisky was aged in oak barrels for a minimum of 5
years). This was revolutionary at the time, as all of the U.S. bourbons
and whiskies were aged for less than a year.
Charbay Double Distilled Hop Flavored Whiskey
An American classic,
this whiskey is produced in California by double distilling two row
malted barley. With the addition of aromatic hops and rich spice of new
American Oak barrels, this Hop Flavored Whiskey celebrates the ongoing
creativity of the Charbay Distillery.
Vintage Bourbon Company 21yr Old 750ml
Vintage Bourbon is
selected from the rarest lot of barrels. Each barrel is hand-picked and
chosen according to the strictest criteria for taste, aroma, and
bouquet. The extra years that we allow these barrels to age imparts
flavor and taste characteristics not found among other bourbons.
Unfortunately the many extra years of barrel aging also limits the
quantities from each barrel to only a few precious bottles. Please
enjoy this rare Vintage Bourbon in moderation. Best savored by sippin'
neat, of course.

Deep amber with a
copper-orange cast. Moderately full-bodied. Reminiscent of pralines,
mocha, dried apricot and minerals. Bold, rich texture. Very dry and
assertive on the palate. Nutty, spicy components dominate soft fruit
notes. Amid all the power lies a fascinating element of zesty, bright

Sam Houston American Bourbon 750ml
Sam Houston bourbon is
aged 10 years in new oak barrels which allows all of the vanilla and
caramel flavors to develop to their fullest. Our pure Kentucky
limestone water gives the bourbon a crisp, fresh taste. We suggest that
Sam Houston bourbon be enjoyed on the rocks, with a splash of branch
water or perhaps in your favorite Manhattan or mint julep. Sam Houston
is 90 proof - a fine sippin' whisky.

Eagle Rare 10 Yr Bourbon Kentucky 750ml
Slight oak and candied almonds, sweet oaky nose.
Bulleit Bourbon 90 Proof 750ml
Bulleit Bourbon is
distilled and aged in small batches and stored in a single-story
warehouse which reduces inconsistencies in the maturation process.
Bulleit Bourbon is aged in American White Oak barrels that are flame
charred, giving the bourbon some of its color and flavor. It is aged
not a drop less than 6 years, creating maturity and smoothness. The
final, 90 proof product is formulated by mingling, not blending, two
and sometimes three of the distillates to ensure consistency in the
nose and taste.
Bowmore 25 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Islay
Full and well-balanced,
with some smoke and mild sweetness. Complex palate, with peat, some
sweetness, salt and citrus notes. Lingering finish, with a light touch
of smoke and sweetness.
Scott's Collection 1985 21 yr. Macallan 750ml
A unique combination of
bourbon and sherry oak casks. An intensely rich Macallan with vanilla
and passion fruit, delivering a long lingering finish with hints of
wood smoke.
Duncan Taylor Glenugie 22 YR Rarest Of Rare 1981 Scotland 750ml
Nose: Woodiness of age,
with sawdust and a bit of woodglue perhaps. But also sweet fruit, like
pineapple cubes, ripe bananas and strawberry jam. The sweetness is
underpinned bu a vanilla creaminess (rice pudding) and mint. With time
comes earthiness and a little gristy peat. Almost oaty at times too.
Palate: Very sweet initially, with vanilla and toffee syrup. This gives way to more dryness and some peatsmoke.
Finish: Coal smoke.
Overall: A good mix of sweet fruit and earthier phenols. Engaging old highland malt.
